Meet Dr. Anna MacKin
About Me
Dr. Anna Mackin is a board-certified ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal surgeon who provides the full spectrum of medical and surgical retina care. She treats retinal detachments and tears, macular holes and epiretinal membranes, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and other complex retinal conditions using state-of-the-art imaging, laser, injections, and microsurgery. Dr. Mackin earned her medical degree from the University of Colorado in 2015, completed ophthalmology residency at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in 2019, and finished a fellowship in diseases and surgery of the retina, macula, and vitreous as the Snyder Family Endowed Fellow at the University of Chicago in 2021. She has been recognized for research on age-related macular degeneration and received the Best Fellow Paper (Been-Fisher) Award from the Chicago Ophthalmological Society.
