Dr. Andrew Billingsley

Dr. Andrew Billingsley is a general ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care to patients in the Albemarle area. He focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of eye diseases and disorders, offering services such as comprehensive eye exams and YAG laser capsulotomy for after cataract surgery. He manages conditions including cataracts, glaucoma, dry eye syndrome, and diabetic eye disease, with an emphasis on patient education and personalized treatment plans.

Dr. Billingsley earned his medical degree from New York Medical College and completed his residency there, following an internship at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He has been with Carolina Eye Associates since 2001.
