About Me
Dr. Andrew K. Bailey is an ophthalmologist at the Dean McGee Eye Institute in Oklahoma City, specializing in glaucoma and cataract care. He treats a wide range of glaucoma conditions, including primary open-angle, angle-closure, traumatic, uveitic, and pediatric glaucoma, as well as routine and complex cataracts. As a Clinical Associate Professor, Dr. Bailey is dedicated to educating the next generation of ophthalmologists and provides clinical and surgical training at the main DMEI campus and in partnership with the Veterans Administration, drawing on his own experience as a former United States Navy veteran.
Dr. Bailey earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and completed an ophthalmology residency and glaucoma fellowship at the Dean McGee Eye Institute. He served in the United States Navy from 2004 to 2010, including deployments to Iraq. His commitment to teaching has been recognized with multiple awards.
