Dr. Parhiz is a board-certified vitreoretinal surgeon with extensive experience diagnosing and treating retinal disease. He cares for patients with both common and complex retinal conditions, focusing on thorough evaluation and clear communication about treatment options. He completed medical school at St. Louis University School of Medicine and trained in ophthalmology at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, where he served as chief resident during his final year. Dr. Parhiz then pursued fellowship training in vitreoretinal disease and surgery at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. After years of practice in other states, he founded Idaho Retina Center to bring state-of-the-art retina care to the Treasure Valley in a compassionate setting. He has been involved in research and publication and brings that commitment to innovation into day-to-day patient care.
