About Me
Alec J. Chaleff, MD is a cataract, refractive, and corneal surgeon who focuses on restoring crisp, comfortable vision with a personalized plan for every patient. After ophthalmology residency at SUNY Stony Brook in Long Island, he completed advanced fellowship training in corneal, refractive, and complex anterior segment surgery at the Price Vision Group in Indianapolis. Dr. Chaleff cares for routine and challenging cataracts, offers modern laser-assisted techniques, and treats a full spectrum of corneal disease with the latest keratoplasty options.
Originally graduating summa cum laude from the University of Miami, Dr. Chaleff earned his MD at the USF Morsani College of Medicine and also completed an MBA at the USF Muma College of Business. He has published on topics spanning fungal keratitis, ocular trauma, and corneal degenerations, and is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
