Dr. Albert Caruana

Dr. Albert Caruana is a compassionate ophthalmologist who provides exceptional eye care to the Fort Lauderdale community. With deep roots in South Florida, he is dedicated to serving patients with personalized attention. Dr. Caruana specializes in advanced technology cataract surgery, refractive surgery, and the treatment of corneal diseases, helping patients achieve their best possible vision.

He completed his medical training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and further honed his skills through an ophthalmology residency at the University of Maryland and a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery. Dr. Caruana has extensive experience, including serving as Department Chair of Ophthalmology at Cleveland Clinic Florida, and now leads Caruana Eye Care, which he founded to offer state-of-the-art technology in a welcoming environment.
