Dr. Raymond Gailitis

Dr. Raymond Gailitis is a board-certified, fellowship-trained refractive and corneal transplant surgeon who specializes in laser vision correction. He is the co-founder of The Center for LASIK, a practice dedicated to state-of-the-art vision correction surgery. With over three decades of experience in Southeast Florida, he has performed a wide range of refractive procedures.

Dr. Gailitis offers advanced treatments including LASIK, cataract surgery, corneal transplantation, ICL implantation, and the Intacs procedure. He has also been a principal investigator in FDA studies for farsightedness treatment and has taught physicians both nationally and internationally. His approach focuses on providing precise, individualized care for patients seeking vision correction.

Dr. Gailitis has undergone LASIK himself, giving him a personal understanding of the patient experience. He has been recognized by his peers as a South Florida “SuperDoctor” and was featured by Southwest Airlines as one of the “Best LASIK Surgeons in America.” He continues to practice at the Center for LASIK in Margate, Florida.
