Dr. Alan Hromas

Dr. Alan Hromas is an ophthalmologist specializing in medical and surgical retina care. He evaluates and treats complex retinal disease with a focus on helping patients understand their diagnosis, the available treatment options, and the goals of care over time.

Dr. Hromas earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 2010, completed ophthalmology residency at the University of Kansas (serving as Chief Resident), and then completed fellowship training in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery at Retina & Vitreous of Texas in Houston. He has participated in clinical research efforts exploring new therapies for diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration. In addition to advanced retinal procedures, he emphasizes timely treatment and clear communication to support patients facing vision-threatening conditions.
