About Me

Dr. Adam Quinn is a comprehensive ophthalmologist and glaucoma specialist who enjoys caring for patients across the spectrum of routine and complex eye conditions. He provides thorough eye exams and clear, step-by-step counseling so patients understand their diagnosis and options. His surgical practice includes modern small-incision cataract surgery, and he offers laser-assisted techniques when appropriate to help optimize visual outcomes. For glaucoma, Dr. Quinn tailors treatment to each patient—from medications and in-office laser procedures to minimally invasive glaucoma surgery and, when needed, traditional filtering surgery. He also manages common retinal and corneal problems and coordinates care seamlessly within a team when subspecialty input is helpful. A native of Baton Rouge, Dr. Quinn completed medical school and early honors at LSU Health Sciences Center–Shreveport, followed by internship training in Birmingham, Alabama. He then completed ophthalmology residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he served in leadership, and pursued dedicated glaucoma fellowship training at UAB. Patients appreciate his calm manner, attention to detail, and commitment to evidence-based care designed to protect sight and support everyday life.
