About Me
Dr. Jay O. Craddock is a board-certified ophthalmologist at the University of Mississippi Medical Center who specializes in glaucoma care, anterior segment surgery, and the treatment of eye injuries. As an associate professor and medical student educator, he combines clinical care with teaching and a focus on serving patients across Mississippi.
Dr. Craddock earned his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine and completed his ophthalmology residency at UMMC. He pursued additional subspecialty training with a glaucoma fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Callahan Eye Center. In his practice, he provides laser-based procedures, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), and comprehensive management of both chronic and urgent glaucoma.
A Mississippi native, Dr. Craddock is committed to clear communication and practical, individualized treatment plans that help patients protect vision and stay active in daily life.
