Dr. Aaron Lindeke-Myers

Dr. Aaron Lindeke-Myers is a comprehensive ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon at the UNC Department of Ophthalmology. He provides full-spectrum eye care for adults, from routine examinations to surgical treatment of visually significant cataracts. Patients know him for his calm, thorough communication style and for taking the time to ensure every question is answered before, during, and after a visit.

Dr. Lindeke-Myers earned his medical degree at Emory University School of Medicine and completed ophthalmology residency at Duke University Eye Center. At UNC, he performs cataract surgery—including advanced technology lens options—and in-office laser procedures when appropriate. He also medically manages glaucoma and common retinal diseases such as diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration.
