Dr. Jeffrey Moon

Dr. Jeffrey Moon is a board-certified ophthalmologist with advanced expertise in LASIK, PRK, and cataract procedures. He currently leads as Chief of Refractive Surgery at Womack Army Medical Center, located at Fort Liberty, North Carolina, where he has performed more than 1,000 refractive surgeries for active-duty military personnel in under two years.

Dr. Moon brings a personal connection to the patient journey, having undergone refractive surgery himself. This first-hand insight informs his patient-focused approach, ensuring every individual receives the highest standard of care and comfort. He completed his ophthalmology residency within the San Antonio Military Health System, gaining extensive clinical and surgical experience.

Outside the operating room, Dr. Moon enjoys quality time with his family and hobbies including playing piano, hiking, and cycling. He maintains active memberships in professional societies such as the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Ophthalmic Trauma.
