About Me
Dr. Yousuf Khalifa is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract and refractive surgery, as well as corneal diseases. He serves as the Director of the Emory Eye Center Ambulatory Surgery Center and is the Chief of Ophthalmology at Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital. Previously, he was the chief of ophthalmology at Grady Memorial Hospital's Eye Center for over a decade. Dr. Khalifa is also an Associate Professor at Emory University School of Medicine, where he leads surgical training programs and contributes to the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Khalifa's clinical focus includes cataract surgery with advanced intraocular lens technologies, refractive surgery such as LASIK and PRK, and comprehensive management of complex corneal diseases. He is dedicated to providing superior surgical outcomes and patient-centered care, ensuring precision, safety, and compassion in every treatment. Interpretive services are available to support patients with communication needs.
