Dr. Vincent Deramo

Dr. Vincent A. Deramo is a board-certified ophthalmologist and retina specialist. He serves as Chief of Ophthalmology at North Shore University Hospital at Syosset – Davis Vision Eye Surgery Center and is an active member of the American Society of Retina Specialists, the Retina Society, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Deramo has been recognized with the Ronald G. Michels Fellowship Foundation Award as well as the Heed and Knapp Ophthalmic Foundation Fellowships. He has also been named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor and has authored numerous ophthalmic articles and co-authored a textbook.

Dr. Deramo earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, graduating Cum Laude and Alpha Omega Alpha. His advanced training at Duke University Eye Center, Wills Eye Hospital, and Georgetown University has prepared him to provide expert care for a range of retinal conditions. He is fluent in English and Italian.
