About Me
Dr. Vandana C. Reddy is a board-certified ophthalmologist and the founder of Northeast Georgia Ophthalmology. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the Mayo Clinic and then pursued advanced fellowship training in cornea, external disease, cataract, and refractive surgery at the University of Michigan's Kellogg Eye Center. Her clinical expertise spans cataract surgery, corneal procedures, and comprehensive eye care.
Dr. Reddy provides medical and surgical eye examinations for a wide range of conditions including dry eye, lid margin disease, cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and corneal diseases. Her surgical services include routine and complex cataract surgery with standard and premium intraocular lens implants, corneal procedures, pterygium surgery, minor eyelid surgeries, and laser surgeries to prevent or treat glaucoma and secondary cataracts.
Actively involved in her community, Dr. Reddy conducts free glaucoma screening clinics in the Atlanta area and advocates for patients through legislative action. She has been selected for leadership programs including the Georgia Physicians Leadership Academy and the American Academy of Ophthalmology Leadership Development Program. Outside of her practice, she enjoys hiking, gardening, and performing Indian classical dance.
