About Me

Pamela S. Martin, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist with advanced fellowship training in cornea, anterior segment, and refractive surgery. She brings a strong academic background and surgical expertise in complex anterior segment procedures, refractive technologies, and corneal pathology. She cares for patients with vision-limiting corneal disease and cataracts, and offers modern refractive options to reduce dependence on glasses or contacts.

Dr. Martin completed her fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine and ophthalmology residency at the University of Florida, where she served as Chief Resident. She earned her medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine and graduated magna cum laude from Auburn University with a degree in biomedical science and a minor in business. An active contributor to clinical research, Dr. Martin has authored peer-reviewed publications and presented her work at national meetings including the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and Women in Ophthalmology.

Dr. Martin is passionate about community care and previously volunteered at free clinics, school vision screenings, and early-childhood health education events. Her professional affiliations include the Cornea Society, American Academy of Ophthalmology, and Women in Ophthalmology. Patients appreciate her calm bedside manner, team-based coordination with referring doctors, and thoughtful guidance on recovery and long-term eye health.
