About Me
Dr. Todd Gothard is an ophthalmologist specializing in cornea and external diseases, cataracts, and refractive surgery. His practice focuses on the treatment of cataracts, corneal disease, and refractive surgery. He has a special interest in refractive cataract surgery, using advanced and premium intraocular lens implants such as toric lenses for astigmatism and multifocal lenses to reduce the need for glasses after surgery.
Dr. Gothard also has expertise in refractive surgery, including LASIK and PRK to correct nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism, as well as phakic lens implants for high degrees of nearsightedness. He performs all forms of corneal transplants, including partial lamellar techniques such as DMEK, DSAEK, and DALK. He emphasizes patient education and shared decision-making in pre- and post-surgical care, ensuring patients are well-informed about their treatment options.
