Meet Dr. Terry Kim
About Me
Dr. Terry Kim is a corneal specialist and ophthalmologist at Duke Health. His clinical practice focuses on the surgical treatment of cataracts, corneal conditions, and refractive surgery for patients seeking to reduce dependence on glasses or contact lenses. Dr. Kim serves as a medical professor in the Department of Ophthalmology and the division chief for cornea and refractive surgery.
In addition to patient care, Dr. Kim has been involved in research related to wound healing in the eye and works to support clinical and basic science research among his cornea faculty. He is board certified in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology and sees adult patients at multiple Duke Eye Center locations in Durham and Morrisville, North Carolina.
Dr. Kim's areas of expertise include cataract surgery, premium lens implants, corneal disease, corneal transplant surgery, and LASIK.
