Dr. Tate Saurey

Dr. Tate Saurey is an ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon who provides advanced eye care at Waynesborough Ophthalmology, where he joined in June 2024. He performs a high volume of cataract and glaucoma surgeries each year, utilizing techniques such as sutureless cataract surgery, premium lens implants, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) to achieve precise outcomes. Dr. Saurey manages a range of ocular conditions including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and age-related macular degeneration.

Fluent in Spanish and certified as an advanced medical translator, he effectively serves diverse patient populations. Dr. Saurey is committed to community service through international surgical missions and local charities, for which he has received multiple awards.
