Dr. Carol Johnston

Dr. Carol Johnston is an ophthalmologist who has served the Onslow County and Jacksonville, North Carolina area for over 25 years. She graduated from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and completed her ophthalmology residency at SUNY Health Science Center in Syracuse, New York. Dr. Johnston is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Johnston has been actively involved in the community. She has served as a trustee on the Onslow County Hospital Board, and previously served on the Onslow Memorial Foundation Board and the Onslow Board of Health. She is currently a member of the Sponsors for Academic Talent Board and Jacksonville Rotary Club. Dr. Johnston has also participated in medical mission work, providing free cataract surgery clinics both locally and abroad.
