About Me
Dr. Szilard Kiss is an ophthalmologist specializing in medical and surgical retina at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City. He provides compassionate care for patients with a range of retinal conditions, including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, retinal detachment, retinal vein occlusion, and ocular inflammation. Dr. Kiss emphasizes a nurturing environment and uses the latest diagnostic and treatment technologies to develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for each patient.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Kiss serves as Director of Clinical Research in the Department of Ophthalmology. His clinical interests include complex vitreoretinal surgery and the management of macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. He has participated in numerous clinical trials and has authored over 200 scientific publications, contributing to advances in retinal imaging, ocular gene therapy, and novel treatments for retinal diseases.
