About Me

Eleni Konstantinou, MD, is a retina specialist and ocular oncologist at Weill Cornell Medicine/NewYork-Presbyterian. She treats medical retinal diseases and ocular tumors with a careful balance of sight-preserving therapy and timely intervention, offering options such as laser, cryotherapy, photodynamic therapy, and plaque-based treatments when appropriate. Patients appreciate her clear explanations of imaging and test results, and the way she partners with oncology colleagues to build individualized plans.

Dr. Konstantinou received her MD from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and completed ophthalmology residency at Tufts/New England Eye Center, where she served as Chief Resident. She pursued fellowships in medical retina at the National Institutes of Health and in ocular oncology at Wills Eye Hospital. An active clinical investigator and educator, she focuses on advancing diagnostics and therapies while keeping care compassionate, accessible, and aligned with each patient’s goals.
