About Me
Dr. Susan Vierling is a board-certified ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal surgeon with over 30 years of experience treating complex retinal conditions. She diagnoses and manages a wide range of conditions, including retinal detachment, age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, macular hole and pucker, retinal vein occlusions, and uveitis.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Vierling has served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine and an attending physician at Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital, where she taught medical and surgical retina to ophthalmology residents. She is affiliated with several hospitals and surgery centers in the region.
Dr. Vierling provides comprehensive care for patients with retinal conditions, utilizing advanced diagnostic and treatment techniques to help preserve and improve vision.
