About Me

Dr. Susan Blair is a board-certified ophthalmologist and cornea specialist with nearly 25 years of experience serving patients in Arkansas. She completed her medical degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and pursued further specialty training with an ophthalmology residency at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., followed by a fellowship in Cornea and External Disease at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. Dr. Blair returned to her native Arkansas and has practiced at Little Rock Eye Clinic's West office location, where she focuses on both comprehensive ophthalmology and cornea care.

Her clinical interests include the medical treatment of cornea diseases and dry eyes, comprehensive routine exams for glasses and contact lenses—including difficult contact lens fits—and the evaluation and management of conditions such as glaucoma and diabetic eye disease. Dr. Blair also performs certain laser procedures, including laser vision correction, and manages the pre-operative and post-operative care for cataract and cornea conditions. She finds great joy in improving patients' quality of life by preserving and enhancing their vision.

Dr. Blair has been honored by her peers with the Winston K. Shorey Award for demonstrating the qualities of an ideal physician and is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha honor societies. She has been selected or been a finalist for the Best of the Best Award in Ophthalmology in Central Arkansas multiple times. Outside of her practice, she enjoys traveling, photography, outdoor activities, and spending time with her daughter.
