About Me
Dr. Monica Verma is a fellowship-trained pediatric ophthalmologist who has been serving the Little Rock community since 2012. She believes that when a parent decides to put their child's health into her hands, it immediately becomes her number one priority. Dr. Verma values the relationships she forms with each patient and believes that strong connections go a long way in improving health care outcomes for children.
Dr. Verma is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American Association of Pediatrics. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. She has lectured and presented research in her field at several national meetings.
As a native of North Little Rock, Dr. Verma has deep roots in the community. Prior to establishing her own practice, Children's Eye Care and Surgery, she worked at Eye Care Arkansas and served as the Director of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at Texas A&M University. She now resides in Little Rock with her husband and two children.
