Dr. Brita Rook

Dr. Brita Rook is a pediatric ophthalmologist and adult strabismus specialist dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. She was drawn to ophthalmology because it combines the continuity of clinical medicine with the transformative impact of surgery. Her interest in pediatric ophthalmology began with the challenges of strabismus, and she quickly discovered a passion for working with children. Dr. Rook believes the doctor-patient relationship is of utmost importance and strives to ensure every patient feels heard and involved in their own or their child's treatment plan.

Dr. Rook finds great joy in helping patients of all ages. One of her favorite aspects is witnessing the joy on a parent's face when their child's eyes work together after strabismus surgery, or when an adult with double vision regains single vision. She is deeply committed to her community, having grown up in Little Rock, and values providing care in a practice that prioritizes excellent patient experiences and outcomes.
