Dr. Paul Phillips is a professor and chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and the director of the Harvey and Bernice Jones Eye Institute. He also holds the inaugural Stella Boyle Smith/Gissur J. Petursson, M.D., Chair in Ophthalmology. Dr. Phillips sees patients at Arkansas Children’s Hospital and the Harvey and Bernice Jones Eye Institute at UAMS.

His clinical subspecialties are pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus, and neuro-ophthalmology. Dr. Phillips is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and maintains active membership in several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society, and the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.
