Dr. Steven Fite

Dr. Steven W. Fite is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has been providing comprehensive eye care since 1998. His patient care philosophy emphasizes thorough examinations and clear explanations of conditions and treatment options. He performs cataract surgery, LASIK, and corneal surgery, and has extensive training in corneal and refractive surgery. Dr. Fite also treats a variety of eye conditions including glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, dry eye syndrome, blepharitis, and keratoconus. He provides general eye examinations and contact lens fittings. Dr. Fite operates at advanced surgical facilities such as Truvista Surgical Center in Troy and Michigan Outpatient Surgical Center in Fraser. He participates in ongoing continuing medical education to stay current in the field.

Dr. Fite completed his undergraduate studies in biochemistry at the University of Michigan-Dearborn and earned his medical degree from Wayne State University. He completed his residency at Sinai Hospital in Detroit and a fellowship in Corneal and Refractive Surgery at the Dean McGee Eye Institute in Oklahoma City.
