About Me
Dr. Steven Carrubba is a cornea, cataract, and refractive surgeon who treats conditions of the front of the eye, including the cornea, lens, and ocular surface. He manages dry eye disease, keratoconus, pterygium, Fuchs dystrophy, and corneal infections, and offers minimally invasive cataract surgery with advanced-technology lenses as well as both full and partial corneal transplantation. He also provides refractive surgery evaluations to help patients determine candidacy for LASIK or PRK.
Dr. Carrubba completed a cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery fellowship at Duke University following ophthalmology residency at NYU Langone, where he served as chief resident. Board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, he is committed to thorough education and shared decision-making so patients understand their diagnosis and treatment options.
