About Me
Dr. Steven Donnelly is an ophthalmologist at Eye Doctors of Lancaster in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He earned his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine and completed his ophthalmology residency and chief residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. During his active duty service as a Major in the U.S. Army Medical Corps, he performed over 2,000 LASIK and PRK procedures and helped establish the Army’s 9th Warfighter Refractive Eye Surgery Center. After his honorable discharge, he served as director of surgical services at Boland Eye Center in Savannah, Georgia before joining Eye Doctors of Lancaster in 2015.
Dr. Donnelly’s primary professional interests include refractive cataract surgery using advanced technology intraocular lenses (IOLs) and glaucoma management, particularly with minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS). He also travels to developing countries to perform cataract surgery for underserved communities. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and he is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
