Dr. Steven Dewey

Dr. Steven Dewey is an ophthalmologist at Colorado Springs Eye Clinic recognized for improving the safety and efficiency of cataract surgery through his development of the Dewey Radius Tip needle. He treats a range of eye conditions including glaucoma and diabetic eye disease, with a current emphasis on cataract surgery. Dr. Dewey personalizes the surgical experience by conducting his own patient counseling, ensuring each patient's individual needs are addressed with the latest technology.

Dr. Dewey has been an invited speaker at meetings across the United States, Europe, Canada, South America, and Asia, and has served on the Cataract Clinical Committee for the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He completed his residency at the Dean A. McGee Eye Institute and has been practicing in Colorado Springs since 1993.
