Dr. John Roberts

Dr. John M. Roberts Jr. is an ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care at the Colorado Springs Eye Clinic. He returned to his home state of Colorado in 2015 and has been serving patients in Colorado Springs and the surrounding communities. His dedication to vision and eye care was inspired by growing up with an optometrist father.

Dr. Roberts completed his medical degree at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. He then pursued an internship at Resurrection Medical Center, where he was recognized as Resident of the Quarter for outstanding patient care. His ophthalmology residency at Stroger Hospital of Cook County focused on serving underserved populations and included research that earned him the Resident Research Project of the Year award.

With a special interest in advanced cataract surgery, Dr. Roberts utilizes multiple laser platforms and cutting-edge lens technology. He emphasizes a team-based approach, collaborating closely with each patient's optometrist to ensure coordinated care.
