Dr. Dingeldein is an ophthalmologist at Alamance Eye Center in Burlington, North Carolina. He specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of corneal diseases and refractive surgery. Dr. Dingeldein has extensive experience in laser vision correction, having been the first physician in the area to treat myopia with an excimer laser in 1991. His clinical focus includes cataracts, corneal disorders, and refractive errors.
Dr. Dingeldein completed his medical degree at UNC-Chapel Hill, followed by an internship in internal medicine and a residency in ophthalmology at the same institution. He then pursued subspecialty training in diseases and surgery of the cornea at Louisiana State Medical Center in New Orleans.
