Dr. Stephen Perkins

Dr. Perkins is a retina specialist and surgeon who provides medical and surgical care for vitreoretinal diseases. He has been with Southeastern Retina Associates since 2002, where he treats patients with conditions affecting the retina and vitreous. Dr. Perkins is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and holds an academic appointment as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine.

Dr. Perkins has demonstrated a commitment to global health through volunteer work in South America, where he performed ophthalmic laser surgery for underserved communities in Ecuador. His experience and training equip him to offer advanced care for patients with retinal conditions.
