About Me
Dr. Stacey Kruger is a pediatric ophthalmologist and adult strabismus specialist at NYU Langone Health. She diagnoses and treats a wide range of eye conditions in children and adults, including strabismus (crossed eyes), pediatric cataracts, tearing issues, and vision conditions that require eyeglasses. Dr. Kruger takes a compassionate, problem-solving approach to care, carefully planning treatments such as strabismus surgery to achieve optimal eye alignment for her patients.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Kruger has participated in the Infant Aphakia Treatment Study, a clinical trial sponsored by the National Eye Institute. She is an active member of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. For over 20 years, she has traveled to Antigua, Guatemala to perform free eye surgeries, reflecting her dedication to making a meaningful impact locally and globally.
