About Me
Dr. Scott A. Vadala is a fellowship-trained cornea, external disease, and refractive surgeon who cares for patients with a wide range of anterior segment conditions. He performs routine, premium, and complex cataract surgery and offers modern refractive options such as LASIK and PRK. His corneal practice includes transplantation techniques tailored to each patient—from full-thickness keratoplasty to partial-thickness procedures—and cross-linking for keratoconus.
Originally from Texas, Dr. Vadala completed medical school and undergraduate training at Texas Tech University before residency at Wake Forest University and a cornea/external disease and refractive fellowship at the Dean McGee Eye Institute. He enjoys working with patients to align visual goals with the safest, most effective surgical plan and is experienced in secondary IOL solutions when prior lenses are unstable. Patients value his clear explanations, thoughtful counseling, and commitment to excellent outcomes.
