Dr. Sara Vegh

Dr. Sara Vegh is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has practiced on the Northshore and in the Chicagoland area for over three decades. She established her solo private practice in Libertyville, Illinois, in 1990, specializing in comprehensive eye care, cataract surgery, and glaucoma treatment. She continues to provide compassionate and personalized care for her patients.

Dr. Vegh received her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine after completing a Doctor of Optometry. She completed an internship at Cook County Hospital and an ophthalmology residency at the University of Chicago. She is on the faculty at Northwestern Medicine in Lake Forest, Illinois, and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the Illinois Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons.
