Dr. Amy Cunningham

Dr. Amy Cunningham is a board-certified ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care with a special focus on cataract surgery and the medical management of common eye conditions. She performs small-incision cataract surgery and is skilled in placing premium intraocular lenses, including toric implants to correct astigmatism and multifocal lenses to reduce the need for reading glasses after surgery. Dr. Cunningham manages a variety of eye diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and dry eye disease, helping patients preserve and improve their vision.

Dr. Cunningham earned her medical degree from Rush Medical College, where she also completed her internship and residency in ophthalmology. She is affiliated with Endeavor Health Medical Group and performs her cataract surgeries at Glenbrook Hospital. She is a diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology and maintains active memberships in several professional ophthalmology societies.
