Dr. Samuel Montgomery

Dr. Jacob Montgomery is a board-certified ophthalmologist with over 20 years of experience in ophthalmic surgery. He provides clinical and surgical care for a range of eye conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, dry eye, and diabetic eye disease. Dr. Montgomery’s expertise includes advanced cataract surgery using femtosecond laser and lifestyle lenses, as well as refractive surgeries such as LASIK and PRK.

He has a special interest in minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) and offers a customized approach to glaucoma treatment. Dr. Montgomery also performs corneal transplants and treats advanced dry eye. He utilizes cutting-edge technologies including bladeless cataract surgery, corneal cross-linking, and various glaucoma stents.

Dr. Montgomery attended Clemson University and earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
