Dr. Samuel Lo

Dr. Samuel Lo brings a unique perspective to eye care as both an optometrist and an eye surgeon. He specializes in treating cataract, glaucoma, and retinal diseases, with a particular focus on diabetic eye disease and macular degeneration. Dr. Lo completed his medical training at the University of Hawaii, John A. Burns School of Medicine, and pursued advanced fellowship training in vitreoretinal disease and surgery at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York.

Dr. Lo previously served as a retina consultant with Kaiser Permanente in California, Hong Kong, and Hawaii before establishing his private practice in Honolulu. At the Eye Surgery Center of Hawaii, he provides comprehensive eye exams and surgical care for a range of conditions affecting the retina and vitreous.
