About Me
Dr. Sam Farah is a board-certified ophthalmologist with dual fellowship training in ophthalmic pathology and retinal disease and surgery. He spent the first ten years of his career in academic medicine at Columbia University and Montefiore Medical Center before opening his private practice in 2005. He currently serves as an assistant professor of ophthalmology and visual sciences at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and is an active member of the Montefiore Health System.
As a retina specialist, Dr. Farah diagnoses and manages conditions affecting the retina and vitreous, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, and other retinal disorders. He has published numerous articles on retinal disease in major medical journals and remains involved in academic medicine.
