Dr. Samareh Azar

Dr. Samareh Azar is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with a special interest in cataract surgery and customized lens selection. She is known for thorough pre-operative evaluations, clear education, and a warm bedside manner that puts patients at ease. From routine exams to surgical care, Dr. Azar focuses on practical solutions that fit each patient’s visual needs—whether reducing dependence on glasses, addressing astigmatism, or managing chronic eye conditions.

A Texas native, Dr. Azar earned a BA in chemistry as valedictorian at Schreiner University and graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha. She completed ophthalmology residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and served as chief resident in her final year. Today she provides full-spectrum adult eye care, including premium cataract options and postoperative care designed to help patients return quickly to the activities they love.
