Dr. Ryan House

Dr. Ryan House is a pediatric ophthalmologist whose passion for eye care began at a young age, inspired by his mother's ophthalmology practice in Central Kansas and accompanying her on international medical volunteer trips. He attended medical school at the University of Kansas, completed his ophthalmology residency at Loma Linda University in California, and pursued specialized pediatric and strabismus surgical training in a fellowship at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis.

Returning to the practice in 2023, he brings a special interest in pediatric and adult strabismus, pediatric cataracts, and pediatric low vision. He serves on the boards of public information and pediatric low vision and rehabilitation for the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, focusing on helping children see comfortably and confidently through a calm, kid-friendly approach and clear explanations for families.
