About Me
Dr. Ryan Rich is a fellowship-trained retina specialist and surgeon who provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for retinal conditions. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Saint Louis University, where he served as Chief Resident, and pursued advanced subspecialty training in vitreoretinal disease and surgery at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.
Dr. Rich has published articles on a wide range of adult and pediatric retinal diseases and has participated in groundbreaking research on the use of Avastin for macular degeneration and other disorders. He regularly presents at national and local meetings for both general ophthalmologists and retinal specialists.
His clinical expertise encompasses the treatment of macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, vascular diseases of the retina, uveitis, vitreoretinal interface abnormalities, retinal detachment, ocular trauma, and complications of anterior segment surgery.
