About Me

Dr. Roger J. Meyer is a retired ophthalmologist who was fellowship trained in diseases and surgery of the retina and vitreous. He specialized in conditions such as age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye care, glaucoma, and optic nerve disorders. Dr. Meyer joined the staff of New Vision Eye Center in Vero Beach, Florida, in 2009 and was a nearly 30-year veteran of ophthalmology in Indian River County, concentrating on treatment of the retina and vitreous. He drew patients and referrals from around the country.

Upon his retirement in 2015, Dr. Meyer transitioned his patients to the care of Dr. Robert Reinauer, who is also fellowship trained in retina and vitreous diseases and surgery. Dr. Meyer's career was marked by his dedication to providing the very best care possible for his patients.
