About Me
Dr. Robert Pearlman is an ophthalmologist specializing in medical and surgical diseases of the vitreous and retina. He treats conditions such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachments, macular holes, and epiretinal membranes, and also manages ocular trauma. His expertise includes complex retinal detachment repair and other vitreoretinal surgeries.
Dr. Pearlman completed his medical education at Wayne State University School of Medicine, followed by an internship at Hahnemann Hospital, an ophthalmology residency at Temple University, and a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at Northwestern University. He continues to serve as a clinical instructor and researcher. Dr. Pearlman is fluent in Hebrew and Spanish, and is an active member of several professional ophthalmology societies.
