About Me
Dr. Manthan Shah is a retina specialist and surgeon who focuses on diagnosing and treating diseases of the retina and vitreous. He cares for patients with conditions such as age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, uveitis, and retinal disease related to infection or eye trauma.
Dr. Shah completed a surgical retina fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis after an ophthalmology residency at Henry Ford Hospital. He earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. In addition to clinical care, he has served in academic ophthalmology and has been involved in education and research. Dr. Shah is affiliated with major professional ophthalmology societies and brings a careful, step-by-step approach to helping patients understand their diagnosis and treatment options.
