About Me
Dr. Robert Brems is a board-certified ophthalmologist by the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Utah College of Medicine in Salt Lake City. He completed his internship at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri, and his ophthalmology residency at the University of Maryland in Baltimore.
His clinical interests include laser vision correction (LASIK), cataract surgery, glaucoma management, diabetic eye care, and cosmetic eye surgery. Dr. Brems has served as the past Chairman of Prevent Blindness Arizona, highlighting his dedication to preventing blindness and promoting eye health.
Beyond his clinical work, he is an active contributor to the medical field, having published numerous articles in professional journals and presented courses for fellow doctors. He is also an inventor of surgical instruments. In his personal life, Dr. Brems is actively involved with his church and values time with his wife and children.
