About Me
Dr. Robert M. Kershner is a board-certified ophthalmologist with subspecialty certification in cataract and refractive surgery. He specializes in advanced cataract surgery, refractive procedures, and the treatment of astigmatism, presbyopia, and glaucoma. Dr. Kershner is known for pioneering microsurgical techniques that allow for no-stitch, no-shot cataract surgery, helping patients achieve clearer vision with minimal discomfort. He also has extensive experience with intraocular lens implants, including toric and multifocal lenses, to correct vision at multiple distances.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Kershner continues to consult, teach, and conduct research as President and CEO of Eye Laser Consulting in Boston. He has contributed to numerous scientific publications and has developed surgical instruments used worldwide.
