Dr. Richard Morgan

Dr. Richard Morgan is a comprehensive ophthalmologist, glaucoma specialist, and cataract surgeon at Schefkind Eye. He blends high-precision surgical skill with a warm, collaborative style to help patients restore both vision and confidence. His clinical practice spans refractive cataract surgery with premium intraocular lenses, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), and cosmetic oculoplastic services. For eyelid concerns, he offers surgical correction of drooping lids as well as nonsurgical rejuvenation, including CO2 laser resurfacing, Botox®, and dermal fillers. Dr. Morgan completed his ophthalmology residency at Duke University Hospital. He earned an MD–PhD from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and Charles R. Drew University, holds a PhD in pharmacology, and later completed a master’s in biotechnology at Johns Hopkins.
